Saints Nicander and Marcian, Roman soldiers, were converted by Saint Peter himself. They left their military posts, becoming disciples and baptizing many in Moesia. Imprisoned for their faith, they endured tortures, converting even their tormentors. They were ultimately beheaded for refusing to renounce Christ.

Lord, may their example inspire us to boldly proclaim your name and to convert many to your Holy Church.
