On this day, we remember #Saint Emilian of Durostorum, who, when confronted about smashing idols, boldly declared he was a Christian. For this act of faith, he was sentenced to be burned. As the flames rose, the fire miraculously parted, leaving him unharmed. Seeing this divine sign, many pagans converted. Emilian then entered the flames willingly, offering himself as a sacrifice to #God.
