Saints Epictetus and Astion, priests in Scythia Minor, were arrested for preaching Christ. Brought before the dux, they refused to worship idols. Epictetus, though tortured, healed miraculously. Astion converted many by his preaching. Dux ordered their beheading. Their bodies, thrown to beasts, were untouched and later buried by Christians.
