Venerable Dometie, filled with divine love, cared for the sick and weary at Râmeț Monastery. One winter, a starving beggar arrived, shivering and near death. Dometie, without hesitation, gave him his own warm cloak and shared his meager food. That night, Dometie had a vision of Christ, radiant and smiling, thanking him for his compassion. Dometie realized that in helping the beggar, he had aided Christ himself.

Lord, grant us the grace to see Christ in everyone we encounter and to act with selfless love, following the example of St. Dometie.
