Venerable Germanus lived in a cave near the Black Sea. He was known for his extreme asceticism and holiness. Fishermen once found him, mistaking him for a seal due to his long hair and animal skin clothing. He taught them about Christ, and they were converted. He continued to live a life of prayer and fasting, becoming a beacon of faith in #Dobrogea.
