Martyrs Montanus and Maxima, during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, bravely confessed their faith in Christ. Facing the governor's threats and temptations, they remained steadfast. Maxima, a young woman, endured tortures alongside Montanus, a priest. Miraculously, they survived attempts to drown and burn them. Ultimately, they were beheaded for refusing to renounce their belief in Jesus. Their unwavering devotion inspires us to stand firm in our faith.
