Visarion Toța was born to pious parents in 1904. Monastic life called him, and he became a great spiritual leader. Arrested in 1948 for his faith, he endured immense suffering in communist prisons. Despite torture and starvation, his faith never wavered. He comforted fellow prisoners, offering hope. Visarion died in 1950, a martyr for Christ.
