In the face of relentless persecution by the Soviets, Saint Alexandru, a priest from Basarabia, refused to compromise his faith. He was repeatedly arrested, tortured, and pressured to renounce his beliefs, yet he remained steadfast. His resilience inspired countless believers. He continued to secretly minister to his flock, offering solace and hope in the darkest of times. Ultimately, he was martyred for his unwavering commitment to Christ.
