On this day, we remember Saint Iuliu the Veteran, a Roman soldier stationed in Durostorum. When ordered to renounce his faith, he refused, declaring, "I am a Christian." Despite threats, he remained steadfast, confessing Christ openly. For his unwavering faith, he was sentenced to death and beheaded.
