Saint Lup, once a devoted servant in the Roman army, stood firm in his Christian belief even when Emperor Maximian demanded worship of pagan idols. Witnessing the martyrdom of Saint Demetrius, Lup was emboldened. He openly declared his faith, destroyed pagan idols, and healed the sick in Thessalonica using relics of Saint Demetrius. Imprisoned and tortured, Lup remained steadfast, converting many through his unwavering faith and miracles, until he was beheaded.
