Hieromartyr Antim the Ivirian, a Georgian, was a gifted calligrapher, sculptor, and theologian. He became a Metropolitan of Wallachia. Despite his high position, Antim championed social justice. In 1716, his progressive views and criticism of Ottoman influence led to his unjust deposition and exile. While being transported, he was murdered by Ottoman soldiers. May his prayers guide us toward truth and justice. #OrthodoxSaints #RomanianChurch #Martyr #SpiritualGuidance #Ivirian
