Confessor Sava Brancovici, Metropolitan of Ardeal, stood firm against Calvinist pressures in 17th-century Transylvania, defending the Orthodox faith. Despite imprisonment and attempts to sway him, he refused to renounce Orthodoxy. He was deposed and exiled for his unwavering commitment. Let us pray that through his example, we too may find the courage to uphold our beliefs in the face of adversity.
