On this day, we remember Saint Liviu Galaction of Cluj, a priest whose courage shone during Romania's darkest hours. In 1958, amidst communist oppression, he stood firm in his faith, refusing to betray his flock. Accused of anti-state activities, he endured imprisonment and torture, yet never wavered. He was martyred for his unwavering commitment to Christ.

Holy Saint Liviu, pray to God for us, that we may find the strength to uphold our beliefs in the face of adversity.
