Martyr Hermes was a Roman soldier who, witnessing the brutal persecution of Christians, openly confessed his faith. Refusing to renounce Christ, he was imprisoned and subjected to torture, including being scourged and burned. He remained steadfast, and was ultimately beheaded for his unwavering belief.
