Romulus, a soldier, and Silvanus, a deacon, stood firm in the face of Roman persecution. Ordered to renounce Christ and offer sacrifices to pagan gods, they refused, declaring their unwavering faith. For their steadfastness, they were tortured and ultimately beheaded in 303 AD, near Durostorum (present-day Silistra). Their courage inspires us to remain true to our beliefs, even in adversity.

Let us pray to Romulus and Silvanus, asking for their intercession, that we may be granted the strength to emulate their dedication and live according to God's will.
