Around 310 AD, during the reign of Emperor Maximian, Isihie, a soldier of high rank, openly confessed his faith in Christ amidst pagan worship. Ordered to offer sacrifices to idols, he refused, declaring his allegiance to the one true God. Despite severe torture, Isihie remained steadfast. He was eventually drowned in a river for his unwavering belief.
