Martyrs Montanus and Maxima, during Emperor Diocletian’s reign, refused to offer incense to idols. Montanus, a priest, boldly declared Christ as the true God. Maxima, a Christian woman, joined him in his steadfast faith. Despite torture and threats, they remained resolute, encouraging each other to stand firm. Their courage and unwavering devotion led to their martyrdom by drowning.

Lord, may their sacrifice inspire us to defend our faith, and may their prayers strengthen our resolve in trials. #Martyrs #OrthodoxChristian #Faith #Prayer #Saints
