Saint Ilie Lăcătușu served as a priest in Bucharest. After his death, his body remained incorrupt, emitting a sweet fragrance. His relics were discovered by workers, who, despite not knowing him, felt compelled to venerate him. Miracles began to be attributed to his intercession, leading to his canonization.
