Pasicrates and Valentine, brothers and soldiers, stood firm in their #Christian #Faith when Emperor Maximian demanded they offer sacrifices to idols. Scorned and imprisoned, they were visited by their mother, who urged them to remain steadfast, choosing heavenly rewards over earthly life. Refusing to renounce Christ, they were subjected to brutal tortures. Miraculously healed each time, they finally met their martyrdom by the sword.
