Martyr John, a merchant of wealth and piety, was traveling when he was betrayed by a wicked man who sought to steal his goods and falsely accused him of renouncing his faith. Despite torture and imprisonment, John steadfastly confessed #JesusChrist. He was dragged through the streets, beaten, and finally beheaded for refusing to deny Christ. Even after death, his body remained incorrupt and worked miracles, converting many who witnessed the power of his unwavering faith.
