During Emperor Decius's persecution, Romulus and Silvanus, bishops in the Thracian region, were arrested for their Christian faith. They refused to renounce Christ, boldly confessing their belief. After enduring tortures, they were condemned to be burned at the stake. As the flames engulfed them, they prayed, praising God, and offering their souls. Even in the face of death, their unwavering faith inspired many. We beseech you, Holy Martyrs Romulus and Silvanus, pray to God for us, that we may remain steadfast in our faith and find strength in times of adversity.
