He carved a cell out of rock at the Iezeru Monastery, dedicating himself to fasting and vigil. His wisdom attracted many, yet he shunned fame, preferring divine communion. Before his repose, an angel appeared, foretelling his death. Now, he intercedes for those seeking guidance.
