Saint Andrew, brother of Peter, was fishing in Galilee when Jesus called him to be an Apostle. Andrew, the first-called, eagerly followed Christ and brought others to Him. After Pentecost, Andrew preached the Gospel in Scythia, along the Black Sea, and in Greece. He was crucified in Patras on an X-shaped cross, now known as St. Andrew's Cross, for refusing to renounce Christ. Even in his suffering, he continued to preach, converting many to the Christian faith before his death.

Let us pray to #SaintAndrew to intercede for us, that we may have the courage to share the Gospel and remain steadfast in our #Faith. May his example inspire us to bring others to Christ, for the Glory of #God. #Apostle #Prayer #Christianity
