Epictet, a priest, and Astion, his disciple, fearlessly spread the Gospel in Scythia. Arrested for their faith, they refused to offer sacrifices to pagan gods. The judge, Hilarian, subjected them to torture, but their resolve remained unshaken. Miracles occurred, converting many. Even after further torment, including beheading, their faith shone brightly, leading to their martyrdom.
