Saints Donat and Venust, brothers, faced Roman persecution for their unwavering faith. Donat, a bishop, and Venust, alongside other Christians, were arrested during Emperor Aurelian's reign. Refusing to renounce Christ, they endured brutal tortures. Miraculously, they survived being thrown to wild beasts and a fiery furnace. Finally, they were beheaded for their steadfast belief.
