Venerable Dometie, a humble shepherd from Râmeț Monastery, lived a life of profound simplicity and unwavering faith. One harsh winter, he found a lost traveler freezing and near death. Without hesitation, Dometie carried the man back to the monastery, sharing his own meager food and warmth until the traveler recovered. When asked why he risked his own life, Dometie simply replied, "He was my brother in need."
