Today we remember Constantin Brâncoveanu, Prince of Wallachia, and his sons: Constantin, Stephen, Radu, and Mathew. In 1714, they were captured by the Ottomans. Offered freedom if they converted to Islam, Constantin refused, encouraging his sons to remain steadfast in their Christian faith. On August 15, after torture, they were beheaded in Constantinople. Their courage inspires us to defend our beliefs.

Lord, strengthen our resolve. May their sacrifice deepen our faith!
