Venerable Nicodim, born in the 14th century, left his noble life to embrace monasticism. Guided by divine inspiration, he founded the Tismana Monastery in Romania, a sanctuary of prayer and spiritual enlightenment. Legend says, while searching for a suitable location, a column of fire appeared, indicating God's will. He then tirelessly worked to build the monastery, attracting monks and nurturing a vibrant community dedicated to God.
