Venerable Cleopa, a beacon of monastic life, was once tested by a severe illness. Bedridden and in great pain, he was visited by a doctor who advised surgery. Cleopa, deeply rooted in faith, refused, saying, "My soul does not allow it." Instead, he asked the brethren to read the Canon to the Holy Unmercenaries. As the prayers ascended, his pain vanished, and he was healed instantly.
