St. Antipa, yearning for monastic life, left home and wandered, eventually reaching Mount Athos. There, he faced temptations and spiritual trials, but through fervent prayer and asceticism, he grew in faith. One day, a novice fell gravely ill with a high fever. The monastery's fathers, including Antipa, prayed fervently. Through their prayers and faith, and particularly through Antipa's supplications, the novice was miraculously healed. From then on, Antipa became known for his gift of healing and intercession. Let us pray to St. Antipa for healing and strength in our own trials.
