Venerable Dometie, a humble hermit of Râmeț Monastery, exemplified boundless mercy. One harsh winter, a starving wolf approached his cell. Instead of fear, Dometie offered the wolf his own food. Miraculously, the wolf ate peacefully and then departed without harm, a testament to the saint's compassion and God's grace.

Lord, through the prayers of Venerable Dometie, grant us hearts full of mercy and compassion for all creation.
