Venerable Nicodim of Tismana, a 14th-century monk, established the Tismana Monastery in Romania, a spiritual and cultural center. Seeking solitude, he initially lived in a cave, later building the monastery with divine help. Legend says, during construction, water was needed, and after fervent prayer, a spring miraculously appeared. His life exemplified devotion, prayer, and the establishment of monasticism.
