Constantin Brâncoveanu, the ruler of Wallachia, faced immense pressure to convert to Islam. Refusing to renounce his Christian faith, he was arrested with his four sons, Constantin, Stephen, Radu, and Mathew. Before their execution, they were each offered clemency if they converted. One by one, they refused. Witnessing their father's steadfastness, the sons were beheaded. Finally, Constantin was beheaded as well. Their martyrdom became a symbol of unwavering faith.
