Pasicrates and Valentine, brothers and soldiers, stood firm in the face of Emperor Maximian's decree demanding sacrifice to idols. Arrested and tortured, they refused to renounce Christ, declaring Him the only true God. Even when faced with their mother's pleas to save themselves, they remained steadfast. After enduring horrific tortures, they were beheaded for their unwavering faith.
