In the Roman city of Durostorum, during the reign of Emperor Diocletian, the soldiers Pasicrat and Valentin were martyred for their unwavering Christian faith. Refusing to offer sacrifices to pagan gods, they were subjected to brutal torture. Despite enduring floggings and other torments, they remained steadfast, proclaiming their allegiance to Jesus Christ. Finally, they were beheaded, receiving the crown of martyrdom. Their courage and devotion inspired many.
