In Antioch, during the reign of Emperor Maximian, lived the soldier Isihie. Known for his valor and virtue, he refused to offer sacrifices to idols, openly declaring his faith in #JesusChrist. Brought before the authorities, he remained steadfast despite threats and torture. He told the Emperor that the false Gods that he wanted Isihie to worship were soulless matter, and that Isihie would never worship them. He was eventually beheaded.
