Claudius, Castor, Sempronian, and Nicostratus were skilled sculptors in Rome during Diocletian's reign. Initially crafting pagan idols, they were tasked with creating an image of Aesculapius. The Apostle Paul appeared to them, revealing the emptiness of idol worship and converting them to Christianity. Refusing to continue their work, they openly confessed their new faith. Angered, Diocletian had them tortured and ultimately drowned in the river, where they embraced martyrdom for Christ.

Let us pray that their courage inspires us to live boldly for Christ. #Martyrs #ChristianFaith #RomanSaints #OrthodoxSaints #Courage
