Hieromartyr #Evangelicus of Tomis, pray to God for us! Bishop under Diocletian, he refused to sacrifice to idols. For this, he was beaten, hung up, scraped, and burned with candles. Unmoved, he was then drowned in the sea, becoming a beacon of faith in the face of Roman persecution.
