Martyrs Montanus and Maxima, during Emperor Diocletian's reign, faced persecution for their unwavering #Faith. Urged to renounce #Christ, they refused. Montanus, a priest, and Maxima, a devout woman, were subjected to brutal tortures. Despite the suffering, they remained steadfast, proclaiming their belief in the true God. Their courage angered the authorities, leading to their martyrdom. They were drowned at Sirmium around the year 304.
