Despite the immense danger, he helped hide them and provided them with food and false documents. He was eventually arrested, tortured, and martyred for his faith and his compassion. He became a symbol of unwavering Christian love and sacrifice in the face of evil. Saint Liviu, pray for us, and intercede for us before the throne of God, that we may also find the courage to love and serve our neighbors, no matter the cost.
