Venerable Theodora of Sihla, once a noblewoman named Theodora, embraced monasticism with her husband after a period of worldly life. Following a divine call, she sought deeper solitude, dwelling in the Carpathian Mountains. Years of intense prayer, fasting, and battles with temptation followed. She lived in a cave, nourished by a raven bringing her bread. After years, a priest, guided by a dream, found her, granting communion. Theodora reposed shortly after, a beacon of repentance and unwavering faith.
