Born in Irinopolis, Isauria, Gregory left home against his parents' wishes to follow Christ. He faced trials, enduring beatings for defending icons during the iconoclast controversy. With divine aid, he crossed the sea to Thessalonica, then traveled widely, preaching and converting many. In Constantinople, he healed the sick and cast out demons. Eventually, he reposed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith and healing.
