Born into wealth, Joseph, renounced it all for Christ. Elected Metropolitan of Timişoara, he initially refused, deeming himself unworthy. However, through divine intervention—a vision of the Mother of God—he accepted. His humility and dedication transformed the diocese. He gave to the poor, healed the sick and preached the Gospel with fervor. He reposed peacefully in 1656.
