Venerable Iraclie, born Roman Bradu in Crețești, Romania, chose monasticism at Cocora Monastery, later guiding the Dobrușa Skete. Renowned for piety and wisdom, he became Bishop of Huși in 1758, defending the flock against hardship and injustice. Later, as Metropolitan of Moldavia, he prioritized church stability and theological education amid political turmoil.
