On July 18th, we remember Saint Emilian of Durostorum. Denounced as a Christian for smashing idols, he boldly confessed his faith before the authorities. Despite threats, he refused to deny Christ. He was sentenced to be burned alive. As the flames engulfed him, he praised God, and his soul departed in peace.

Lord, through the prayers of Saint Emilian, strengthen our resolve to stand firm in our faith, no matter the cost. May his courage inspire us to live boldly for You.
