He was arrested multiple times, enduring brutal torture for refusing to renounce his faith and reveal the names of his parishioners. He was eventually martyred in prison in 1949. His unwavering faith and refusal to compromise his beliefs, even in the face of death, serve as a powerful testament to the strength of the human spirit.
