Venerable Antipa, born in Moldavia, felt a deep monastic calling from a young age. After years of pilgrimage to holy sites, he settled at the Romanian skete of Calapodești on Mount Athos. Known for his extreme asceticism and ceaseless prayer, he healed the sick and comforted the afflicted. Even after his death in 1882, pilgrims testified to miracles at his grave.
