On July 18th, we remember Saint Emilian of Durostorum. When confronted about smashing pagan idols, Emilian openly declared he was a Christian. Dragged before the authorities, he refused to denounce Christ, choosing torture and death instead. Cast into a fiery furnace, his body remained unharmed, a testament to his unwavering faith. Pray that Saint Emilian's courage inspires us to stand firm in our beliefs, even in the face of adversity.
