On this day, we remember Martyr Iuliu Veteranul, a Romanian soldier during World War II. He was captured and imprisoned by the Soviets. He refused to renounce his Christian faith, even under torture. He was martyred for his unwavering belief in Christ. Let us pray for his intercession, that we too may have the strength to stand firm in our faith.
