Saint Priest Martyr Liviu Galaction of Cluj, during the communist regime, refused to collaborate with the secret police, Securitate, and maintained his faith and pastoral work. He openly criticized the regime's oppression and defended his parishioners' rights to practice their religion freely. His unwavering stance led to constant harassment, threats, and ultimately his arrest. He was imprisoned and subjected to torture, yet he never renounced his faith or betrayed his flock. He died in prison a martyr for Christ.
